Rocky Mountain Clay Day

Get hands-on with mid-range clays from local favorite, Rocky Mountain Clay! On June 6, 2026 we will be hosting our partner, Rocky Mountain Clay for a day of trying out specialty clays!

This event is perfect for those who have taken a class before (with us or somewhere else) and want to experiment with new clays before committing to a full bag.

Just sign up for a time and activity on June 6 and show up! We’ll provide everything you need - clay, tools, an apron, and several glaze choices. We’ll even glaze and fire your pieces for you!

Please note: There will be supervision instead of instruction. Participants should already know the basics of wheel throwing or handbuilding.

MORE DETAILS:

  • Cost: $25 per person. Includes 3 pounds of clay, 1 hour at the wheel or handbuilding table. Clay, tools, and firing included!

  • Want to leave with a bag? Limited amounts will be available at a major discount in both 10 lb and 25 lb bags

  • Jill from RMC will be here to answer all your clay questions. Learn more about their local storefront where they sell clays, tools, glazes and more!

  • This event is ideal for those who have some familiarity with wheel throwing or handbuilding and want to experiment with new clays in a self-guided, open-studio setting.

  • No refunds.
