Looking for a creative, hands-on private event that your group will actually talk about afterward? Community Clay turns team building into a shared creative accomplishment. Teams step away from screens and spend time together trying something new and being creative together. Choose pottery wheel, handbuilding, or a mix of both!
Your group is guided step by step by a dedicated instructor, with a pottery format tailored to your time, group size, and goals. BYOB if your group wishes.

What your group will do
A private pottery experience that works for beginners! Most guests are Beginners. Your instructor will guide the group step by step, so everyone has a fun experience.
Choose your format:

3 - 10 guests: choose all wheel or all handbuilding.

11 – 20 guests: half wheel + half handbuilding (everyone gets to try both!).

At your site: 10 - 20 guests, handbuilding only.
Each person picks their favorite 2 pieces to keep, ready for pickup or shipping* in about 3 weeks.

Team building events
Community Clay hosts team building pottery classes tailored to your group's size, schedule, and goals. Events typically run 2-3 hours and can be customized as relaxed "try-it" wheel sessions or guided handbuilding projects like mugs or planters. A dedicated instructor leads your group step by step. Most of our students have never touched clay before!

Community Clay is conveniently located in Denver, a short drive or Uber from downtown and close to the freeway. There is free parking on the street or paid parking close by and the studio is easily accessible from the 38th and Blake RTD station and I-70. When your team is done creating, you are right in the middle of RiNo, walking distance to great restaurants and bars.
