What your group will do

A private pottery experience that works for beginners! Most guests are Beginners. Your instructor will guide the group step by step, so everyone has a fun experience.

Choose your format:

If you have 3 - 10 guests: choose all wheel or all handbuilding.
If you have 10 – 20 guests: half wheel + half handbuilding (so everyone gets to try both!).
If we go to your site: 10 - 20 guests, handbuilding only.

Each person picks their favorite 2 pieces to keep, ready for pickup or shipping in about 3 weeks.

Team building events

Community Clay hosts team building pottery classes tailored to your group's size, schedule, and goals. Events typically run 2-3 hours and can be customized as relaxed "try-it" wheel sessions or guided handbuilding projects like mugs or planters. A dedicated instructor leads your group step by step. Most of our students have never touched clay before!

Adults-only: 18+
Payment: full payment required to book
Changes/cancellations: changes must be made 72+ hours in advance; no refunds for no-shows (we staff based on your paid headcount)
Shipping: available for $20 per box (continental US) if you have remote guests or travelers
Scheduling: daytime, evening, and weekend times vary, email for current availability

Our Denver location

Community Clay is conveniently located in Denver, a short drive or Uber from downtown and close to the freeway. There is free parking on the street or paid parking close by and the studio is easily accessible from the 38th and Blake RTD station and I-70. When your team is done creating, you are right in the middle of RiNo, walking distance to great restaurants and bars.
