Try It Night! February: A one-time class to try the wheel

Want to try the pottery wheel? Join us for a fun evening of craft and community at Community Clay in RiNo!

Whether you're new to pottery or just looking for a unique evening activity with new friends, our Try It Night is the perfect way to try something new, connect with a creative community, and experience the joy of working with clay.

We keep our classes small to ensure you get the attention and instruction you need, so spaces are limited.

No need to bring anything with you except your creativity! We provide aprons, clay, tools, and an encouraging atmosphere. This is a one-time event. We will fire your piece in the kiln, glaze it for you, and have it ready for pickup in about 3 weeks.

When: Friday, February 20 @ 6:00-8:00 pm

Where: 3349 Blake St., Denver, CO

About your teacher: Ethan received his BFA from Alfred University in 2023. Currently his work explores storytelling through vessels that combine wheel and handbuilding as well as other mediums.

The Art Club at Community Clay: Junk Journals II

Community Clay is excited to introduce The Art Club, a new series where we’ll explore non-ceramic arts and crafts together. Think painting, collage, fiber arts and other creative experiments. Each session will feature a different project and all materials will be provided. No clay, no pressure, just play.

Join us for an evening of creative storytelling through paper! We’ll provide a variety of journals (or bring your own!) plus papers, ephemera and embellishments to get you started. You’re welcome to bring any personal materials you’d like to include in your journal. No experience needed, just come ready to hang out and create!

Art Club events are held in an open-studio format rather than a structured workshop. A host will guide the theme with light instruction but no set curriculum, just space to socialize and create at your own pace.

One RSVP reserves your spot and materials for the evening. Space is limited. BYOB.
