Raku Firing

For our first annual Member Appreciation Week (Sept 7-12, 2026), we will end the week with a members-only Raku firing. ​

 

An incredible, intense firing style where pieces are removed from the kiln at 1800 degrees and then placed into combustion materials. The fire is then smothered and the results are just as dramatic!

​

We are providing specialty raku glazes: crackle, shiny metallic, copper matte, and copper luster, as well as pizza, snacks, and drinks.
