Events and Workshops

Community Clay is proud to offer a diverse selection of workshops and programming designed to inspire creativity year-round.

We can't wait to see you in the studio!

Travel Mugs

Join us for a relaxed, hands-on pottery workshop where you’ll design and create your own ceramic travel mug. Your teacher will guide you through the handbuilding process, creating and decorating a functional travel mug you’ll actually use. You will be sculpting using your hands and a variety of tools to form the clay instead of a pottery wheel.

Date: Saturday, Feb. 28, 1-3pm

Location: Community Clay, 3349 Blake St., Denver, CO

This workshop welcomes participants of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced potters.

Ceramic Wall Clocks

Design and create your own ceramic wall clock. Your teacher will guide you through the handbuilding and decorating process as you create a one-of-a-kind clock, limited only by your imagination! You’ll be creating using your hands and a variety of tools to form the clay, no pottery wheel required.

Date: Friday, Feb. 27, 1-3pm

Location: Community Clay, 3349 Blake St., Denver, CO

This workshop welcomes participants of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced potters.

Try It Night! February: A one-time class to try the wheel

Whether you're new to pottery or just looking for a unique evening activity with new friends, our Try It Night is the perfect way to try something new, connect with a creative community, and experience the joy of working with clay. We keep our classes small to ensure you get the attention and instruction you need, so spaces are limited.
